We were so thrilled and excited to watched the beautiful filly 'Harlow' win on debut for Te Akau Racing at Te Rapa recently. Harlow was allowed to sit at the back of the field and find her feet before being asked to sprint down the straight where she galloped from last to be first past the post with her ears pricked. Pear Tree Farm was delighted to have sold this promising filly to Te Akau Racing at last April's South Island Yearling Sale for $41,000. Her dam 'Joan's Girl' is back in foal to Harlow's sire Proisir. The day following the race win, we were visited by one of Harlow's owners who was so happy to get to meet Joan's Girl in person and take a selfie with her. We will be eagerly following the progress of Harlow and fingers crossed that she goes on to have a very bright future.
We have started the preparation on three very nice for the 2019 South Island Sale. Pear Tree Farm will present a Zacinto, a Pure Champion and an El Roca. As always, we are open at any time for inspections of these colts.
