The final August South Island Sale

The final August South Island SaleWe were delighted to take a quality draft of horses to the final August South Island Sale. The horses were very well received and sold accordingly well.

The Road To Rock – Vestvagoy colt fetched $20,000 and is heading to Paul Rocke – a young trainer based at Mornington, Victoria. Paul had been following the colt for a while and was over the moon to secure him.  His intention is to syndicate the colt and aim him for the Derby as a 3yo.

The Keeper – Tetchy filly heads to Laurie Jarvis in Canterbury. Laurie was very excited to pay $13,000 for the daughter of a proven stakes producing sire.

NZB as agent for Macau clients purchased the strong son of Don Eduardo out of Keepixit for $10,000.

The Tavistock – Gunarani gelding was passed in through the ring but was sold quickly after that to connections from Winton for $12,000.

We wish all the purchasers the very best of luck with these horses – we are confident that we will see these horses on the tracks in the not to distant future.

And to our clients, thank you for the opportunity to prepare and present your horses for sale. We love doing it and get a huge thrill out of selling them for you.
