We are well into our sales preparation for 2015. We have a lovely draft of seven yearlings heading to the April 17th South Island Sale in Christchurch. We will proudly be kicking the sale off in style with Lot 1 who is our own stunning filly by Iffraaj out of Lady Sakura, a young stakes placed mare. Although there are only 106 lots entered for the sale, there are some very nice pedigrees represented.
We have been enjoying a long summer of racing with the three year filly Hot Pants (Keeper – Tenko). We have formed a large syndicate of keen race goers and have leased 55% of her. We have yet to get into the winners circle with her but she has been providing us with exciting racing as she has weighed in at each start. The most recent being a very gallant 2nd at Ashburton on Friday 13th March.
Our beautiful Knowing is back in ridden work again after a lengthy layoff following a tendon issue. We are really looking forward to him resuming his race career and look forward to a trip or two up North to watch him strut his stuff.
