The South Island Sale is now less than a month away and we are very pleased with the progress of all six colts that will be part of this years draft.
An exciting boost for us was Little Bridge’s Group 1 win at Royal Ascot – taking on an international field and beating them all. Little Bridge of course is by the wonderful stallion Faltaat and we are happy to present two Faltaat colts at this year’s sale.
On the 29th of July, we will again be part of the Central South Island Racing Owners and Trainers Tour that will view yearlings and stallions in the area. The day is to start at Willowglen Stud at 11am then to Pear Tree Farm around 12.15, onto Three Valleys for lunch, afterwards to Belmont Park to view stallions and finishing the tour at Park Hill Stables. This is always a day that we enjoy as it gives our horses the chance to experience a crowd of people viewing them before heading to Christchurch for the main event on 10th August.
