Yearling draft shaping up nicely

Yearling draft shaping up nicelyWe were thrilled to watch our homebred Knowing win at Hawera over 1600m – his second win from seven starts. He was ridden well by J Parkes and trained to perfection by Rosie Gibbs.

The draft of yearlings for the April 2014 South Island Sale is shaping up very nicely.

The attraction of the Iffraaj filly gets stronger and stronger with the increasing wins internationally by progeny of her sire. Any Suggestion is providing winners each week. The full sister to our Captain Rio colt, beat some royally bred 2 year olds in her first trial to win convincingly. And Boninsky, a half brother to our Man of Power colt, won the Carbine Club Trophy on Melbourne Cup Day at Ellerslie.

Our gates are always open and if you would like to inspect any of these yearlings, feel free to make an appointment.
